What every writer dreams of is getting a grant to write their next book. This is what has happily happened to me; I have been granted funds from the British Columbia Arts Council to work on "The Genoese Bride," a novel set between the past (1938-1939) and the present (2019), in Vancouver (Canada) and Genoa (Italy). I kindly thank the BC Arts Council for their support and will do my best to deserve their acknowledgment of my writing practice.
